Nurse Specialist – Neurosurgery Service, Starship Child Health Permanent, part-time (0.6FTE) position. Outstanding Senior Nursing Leadership opportunity. About the role The Paediatric Neurosurgery Service at Starship Child Health is looking for a Nurse Specialist in a permanent, part-time (0.6FTE) capacity. The Nurse Specialist provides education and support to whanau as well as the wider team, working closely with the Paed Oncology and Paed Rehabilitation services. About the Team/Service/Location The Paediatric Neurosurgery team offers specialist care for infants, children and young people with disorders requiring non‑invasive and invasive neurosurgical procedures. The multidisciplinary team looks after whanau admitted for planned procedures and those transferred acutely from across NewZealand. About you NZ Nursing Registration with a current Annual Practicing Certificate Legally entitled to work in NewZealand Postgraduate certificate/diploma in specialty nursing practice Minimum level4 practice Experience in a Paediatric and/or Neurosurgery setting Demonstrated knowledge of nursing professional development issues At least5years of nursing experience Masters degree in nursing or a health‑related area (Desired) Education & Experience Detail For all aspects of this role and required experience/knowledge, please reference the position description.
