About the role The Manager, Technical Integration & Process Engineering is responsible for leading ACC's technical integration and process engineering capability, ensuring reliable, secure, scalable and reusable integration services and mature engineering practices that enable faster, safer and more effective change. Reporting to the Head of Technology and Platforms, this newly created leadership role provides people, technical and delivery leadership across integration development, integration platforms, enterprise business rules and process engineering. You will partner across digital, architecture, data, security and business teams to strengthen engineering capability, operational performance, automation, customer outcomes and the stability of ACC's core systems and data flows, while contributing to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between. The appointing salary for this role is $193,771 - $213,148 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance. About you Demonstrated experience leading integration, platform or engineering teams within a large and complex organisation. Proven ability to build capability maturity, improve delivery outcomes and align technical capability with enterprise priorities. Strong experience coaching, developing and empowering high‑performing technical teams. Deep expertise across APIs, middleware, event‑driven architecture, enterprise business rules, automation and secure engineering practices. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with both technical and non‑technical senior audiences. Proven ability to establish standards, guide technical decision‑making and deliver reliable, scalable and fit‑for‑purpose solutions. Strong leadership, collaboration and continuous improvement capabilities. A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated application and leadership of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles. You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
