The Haven Early Learning - Belmont Auckland Early Learning Educator, Under 2s Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 21/09/2026, End Date: 16/07/2027 (Maternity Leave) The Haven Early Learning is looking for a full-time under 2s kaiako to join our infant room. This is a fixed term maternity leave contract, starting in late September and finishing in July 2027. We are a small centre in Belmont, licensed for 39 children, with a maximum of 12 babies in our infant room. We are looking for an under 2s kaiako who has a heart for babies, understands and values Pikler Theory, strives to provide quality care, communicates confidently with colleagues and whānau, values strong teamwork, has a positive can‑do attitude, and a warm and caring disposition. Key responsibilities include Building secure attachments with infants through responsive and respectful interactions. Working within a primary caregiving model to support continuity and consistency for children and families. Collaborating closely with whānau and colleagues to support each child's individual learning journey. Be a team player who is collaborative, flexible and involved in planning and documentation.
