About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Process Technician to join our recycling operations team at Marleys Manurewa site. The role is responsible for coordinate the movement and processing of recyclable material through the granulator and mill and back into the extrusion process. This is a hands-on technical role suited to an experienced Process Technician who can keep recycled material flowing efficiently back to production and can work independently with minimal supervision. What will you do? Coordinate the movement of materials within the production area from the extruders to the crusher. Operate and monitor processing equipment and machinery. Ensure materials are processed according to production requirements. Maintain a continuous flow of materials to support operational efficiency. Monitor equipment performance and report any issues. Follow workplace health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures. Maintain housekeeping standards and keep work areas clean and organised. Work collaboratively with production teams to meet daily targets. Assist with general production and processing activities as required. What We're Looking For: Experience in a manufacturing, production, processing, or industrial environment is desirable. Ability to operate machinery and follow work instructions. Strong attention to safety, quality, and productivity. Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently. Forklift licence advantageous but not essential. A strong commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to promote safe work practices and a positive safety culture. A collaborative team player who builds positive working relationships across multiple departments and stakeholders. Open to learning, adaptable to changing timelines and priorities. Why join us?
