Position Title: Cluster Talent & Culture (T&C) Manager Base Location: Rosewood Cape Kidnappers, Hawke’s Bay (with flexibility to work from other NZ properties as operational needs require) Other Locations Supported Remotely: Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, Matauri Bay Rosewood Matakauri, Queenstown Reporting To: Cluster Director of Talent & Culture Employment Type: Full-Time (Fixed Term) Position Purpose: The T&C Manager will support selected Talent & Culture functions across Rosewood’s New Zealand properties. The role is based at one property (currently Cape Kidnappers) and provides remote support to other locations as needed. The base location may be adjusted over time to meet operational requirements, ensuring T&C support is effectively delivered across the cluster. The role reports directly to the Cluster Director of Talent & Culture with a dotted line report to the Director of Operations. Key Responsibilities T&C Support at Base Location and Remote Support Across Other Properties Lead T&C activities in selected areas (e.g., employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management) primarily at the current base location. Provide remote guidance and support to other properties in these functional areas. Occasional travel between properties may be required to support operational needs or special projects. Training & Development Drive and implement training and development programs across all supported properties. Ensure training initiatives align with operational needs, performance goals, and corporate standards. Support managers and employees in accessing and completing training programs. Employee Relations & Engagement Assist with initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction at all supported properties. Support employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolution, within scope of the role. Recruitment & Onboarding Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for roles within the assigned T&C functions at the base property. Provide remote support for recruitment and onboarding at the other properties. Performance & Talent Management Support performance management and talent development processes at the base property and provide guidance to other properties remotely. T&C Administration & Compliance Maintain accurate T&C records for assigned functions. Support compliance with New Zealand employment laws in the areas of responsibility. Key Requirements Proven T&C experience in selected functions, including training and development, ideally in multi‑site hospitality environments. In‑depth knowledge of New Zealand employment law. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability and willingness to travel occasionally between properties when required. Must be available to work a minimum of 45 hours per week on a rostered schedule. Work Location & Travel The role is based at one of the three properties (currently Cape Kidnappers), with flexibility to relocate to other properties as operational needs require. Provides remote T&C support to the other properties. Travel is occasional, only when operational needs or special projects require on‑site presence.
