As the Coordinator – Puna Reo Accounts, you will provide centralised financial and database support across Puna Whakatupu, ensuring the accurate, timely and compliant administration of funding, enrolments, attendance records and financial processes.

  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions for Puna Whakatupu.
  • \n
  • Process fee charges, receipts, invoices, reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate enrolment, attendance, funding and whānau records within databases and systems.
  • \n
  • Support ECE funding administration and Ministry of Education reporting requirements.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, audit and organisational requirements.
  • \n
  • Develop and improve processes that support efficient financial and database management across Puna Whakatupu.
  • \n
  • Build positive relationships with whānau, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • \n

We are looking for someone who has:

    \n
  • A Diploma Level 5 in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • \n
  • A full New Zealand Driver Licence (Class 1).
  • \n
  • At least 5 years' experience in accounts administration and/or financial administration.
  • \n
  • At least 5 years' experience in data entry and database management.
  • \n
  • Experience working within an early learning, education or similar environment.
  • \n
  • Experience with ECE funding, enrolment systems and compliance requirements.
  • \n
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • \n
