Job Description Play a vital role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and reliable transport service for Te Whatu Ora Health NZ, private hospitals, and other customers. The Patient Transfer Service workload includes planned and urgent transfers for hospitals and transport for residential care, palliative care, bariatric and air ambulance patients. Hato Hone St John provides services to Te Whatu Ora Health NZ and is the largest provider of patient transfer services in New Zealand. This is a casual position designed to cover annual / sick leave or training from Monday through Sunday. Available hours will differ each week and are not always guaranteed. Qualifications Ko wai koe - About you: To be successful in this role, you will have: A full class '1' NZdriverslicense, held for a minimum of 12 months with an excellent driving record First Responder qualification - we will train you up if you are new to Hato Hone St John Confident operating large vehiclesand operating under lights and sirens when required Good level of physical fitness Resilient and able to work with autonomy Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus A genuine commitment to the well‑beingand careof others The ability to work under pressure Additional Information Please note: all appointments are subject to satisfactory completion of pre‑employment checks including, but not limited to, physical assessment, psychometric assessment, police vetting, health check, and reference checks.
