As our new Manager, Outcomes for Māori, you will lead a dedicated team focused on understanding and addressing system level changes and interventions across the justice system that will improve justice outcomes for Māori. This is a senior leadership opportunity within Ātea a Rangi - Strategy, where you will influence system-level change through strong partnerships, evidence-based insight, and kaupapa Māori approaches. Reporting to the General Manager, Te Tirohanga Māori, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with iwi, hapū, justice sector partners, the judiciary, and senior Ministry leaders. Your focus will be ensuring Māori perspectives, mātauranga Māori, and Te Tiriti principles inform strategic decision-making, service design, and the delivery of initiatives that address disproportionality across the justice system. In this role you will: Lead a team delivering strategic advice and insights for Māori outcomes Build trusted partnerships with iwi, hapū and justice sector stakeholders Design and oversee initiatives that address systemic disproportionality Embed Te Tiriti principles, tikanga and mātauranga Māori across our work Provide leadership across strategy, performance and organisational priorities No candidate will meet every single desired qualification.
