About the Role As Clinical AdministrationSupport, you will provideadministrative support to our consultants and clinical teams, assist withmanaging the patient flow from initial specialist appointment, through thehospital service, and back into the community. This positionrequires excellent attention to detail to maintain accurate data management ofour patient information care system and transcribing medical documents. This is apermanent, full-time role working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday toFriday 8.00AM to 4.30PM. Please view the position description for furtherinformation. About the Team/Service/ Location Our ClinicalSupport Services team, plays a vital rolein ensuring the smooth operation of the patient’s journey. By providingessential administrative support, we enable clinical teams to focus ondelivering exceptional patient care. From coordinating schedules to managingdocumentation, we are the backbone of the hospital’s daily operations. For more information on living and working in Nelson click here About you As Clinical Administration Support, you will: Have a bright, outgoingpersonality, Possess excellent interpersonalskills and a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customerservice, Be a competent typist and possessa sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite, Be highly empathetic, respect theimportance of maintaining patient confidentiality and will have demonstratedthe ability to manage a busy workload. Atyping speed of 50 words per minute or more is essential. Dictaphone experienceand medical terminology would be advantageous but not essential. Our preferredapplicants will be required to undertake a computer skills assessment. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealandor hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
