Administration Resource Role – Cancer Screening and Treatment Services Location: Palmerston North, New Zealand. Permanent, Full‑time (1.0FTE, 40hrs per week). Salary range: NZ$73,476–81,164. About the Role Provides vital administrative support across Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Haematology services. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments for systemic anti‑cancer therapy (SACT), radiation treatment and outpatient clinics; tracking Faster Cancer Treatment (FCT) reporting; welcoming patients and their whānau at reception; ensuring efficient operation of services; and supporting effective communication and coordination within the regional network. Strong skills in appointment scheduling and coordination. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. High level of computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office and patient management systems. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy, evolving environment. Flexibility and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
