About the Role An exciting opportunity exists to join the Regional Cancer Treatment Service at Te Whatu Ora Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua | MidCentral in an Administration Resource role . This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week) working Monday – Friday. This position provides vital administrative support across Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Haematology services. This role is responsible for administrative processes within the service, covering multiple roles. You might be scheduling appointments for systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT), radiation treatment, or outpatient clinics, and support tracking of Faster Cancer Treatment (FCT) reporting and welcoming patients and their whanau at reception. As a key enabler of high-quality care, you'll help ensure the smooth, efficient operation of services—making a meaningful impact on the experience of patients and their whānau throughout their cancer care journey. You’ll also play an important role in supporting effective communication and coordination across our regional network, helping strengthen relationships between districts and with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
