As a speech and language therapist at Ruru Specialist School, you will join a dynamic and highly experienced team of therapists, working with high and very high ORS funded students aged 5 to 21 years. Our school is a vibrant, progressive environment with a focus on interprofessional collaborative practice. We believe that every student has the right to a voice and therefore have a vested interest in the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). We are looking for a speech and language therapist to join our team, starting Monday 7 th September. We offer a varied caseload with flexibility to accommodate professional strengths and interests. The school has an embedded growth culture, and we provide excellent professional learning opportunities to help you build and expand your therapeutic skills and approaches. If you want to join us, you'll need to: Be a qualified speech language therapist Qualify for NZSTA membership Have a valid driver’s license - as travel between satellite classes is required Experience working in special education is preferred, but we are also keen to hear from new graduates.
