At Southern Cross Invercargill Hospital, our Cleaners are more than just part of the team, they help create the safe, welcoming environment that supports outstanding patient care every day. Whether it's preparing spaces for patients, maintaining high hygiene standards, or supporting laundry services, you'll play a key role in keeping the hospital running smoothly behind the scenes. No two shifts are exactly the same. You'll work across both clinical and non‑clinical areas, helping ensure every space is clean, well‑stocked, and ready for use. Working alongside our wider Support Services team, you'll contribute to an environment where patients, visitors, and staff feel cared for from the moment they walk through the door. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in a job well done, enjoys being part of a close‑knit team, and understands that attention to detail can make a real difference in a healthcare setting. This is a permanent part‑time position (0.2 FTE), working Monday and Thursday from 5.00 pm – 9.00 pm, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts when cover is required. Previous cleaning experience is great to have.
