Automation Field Service Technician

What you'll do Install & commission Deploy medication dispensing robots at pharmacy sites — hardware, software, and everything in between — leaving every site confident and fully operational. Diagnose and resolve Troubleshoot faults across mechanical, electrical, and software systems — remotely and on‑site — with calm efficiency and lasting solutions, not quick fixes. Train & build confidence Deliver hands‑on training to pharmacy teams, translating complex technical concepts into plain language that genuinely sticks. Be the trusted face on‑site Proactive in communication, sharp in follow‑through, and genuinely invested in your customers' success — you're the relationship they rely on. Travel nationally Cover routine maintenance, urgent call‑outs, upgrades, and installations (approx. 5–7 days/month), with occasional international trips for supplier factory training. What you'll bring Technical know‑how – Proven hands‑on experience in automation or similar field — mechanical, electrical (PCB handling, multimeter diagnostics), and software (SQL, networking, Windows, bespoke systems). Methodical problem‑solving – You work through complex faults systematically and find lasting solutions — not quick fixes — even when the pressure is on. Customer focus – You're comfortable being the face of the team with pharmacy customers — professional, responsive and relationship‑oriented. Clear communicator – You explain technical issues to non‑technical people without dumbing it down — just clearly, confidently, and with respect for their time. Qualifications A trade or degree qualification in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred. A background in Computer or Software Systems is a genuine bonus.
