Compliance Manager - Regulatory Governance

Mō te tūranga | Join a high-impact team overseeing regulatory governance across the business. You will contribute to the delivery of second line compliance and non-financial risk activities, with a strong focus on regulatory change, disclosures, and prudential governance. This is a varied role, combining process ownership with subject matter expertise where you will partner closely with stakeholders, provide practical guidance, and translate regulator requirements into clear, workable processes.

• Overseeing and executing compliance and non-financial risk processes, monitoring and reporting activities including providing Line 2 oversight and execution of regulatory change
\n
• Providing clear, practical advice on regulatory obligations
\n
• Conducting risk assessments and reviewing incidents
\n
• Supporting governance frameworks and continuous improvement
\n
• Partnering with business units to embed compliant practices
\n

• Background in Legal, Compliance, Risk or Audit preferred
\n
• Experience working across regulatory change or governance
\n
• Comfortable balancing process ownership with SME input
\n
• Strong ability to interpret regulation and translate into action
\n
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
\n
• Financial services experience advantageous
\n
• Westpac experience preferred
