About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga We have an exciting permanent fulltime opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team based in Auckland. This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join Fonterra’s New Zealand Manufacturing FP&A team. We are looking for someone who enjoys turning data into meaningful insights and partnering with stakeholders to support business performance. You’ll work closely with your line manager, internal business leaders, and wider finance teams to deliver analysis, planning, forecasting, reporting and process support across your business unit. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you’ll take on more complex analysis and contribute to strategic decision-making through financial modelling, scenario analysis, variance commentary and practical recommendations. You’ll also support ongoing improvements to reporting, dashboards and finance processes, helping to ensure information is accurate, useful and aligned to business needs. A few areas of focus will be to: Deliver insightful financial analysis to identify trends, variances, risks and opportunities across Fonterra’s New Zealand Manufacturing business unit. Support budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling and planning activities, providing strong commercial commentary and recommendations. Partner with business leaders and internal stakeholders to understand financial requirements and provide tailored advice. Collaborate with our internal Service Hub to support reporting, process execution, issue resolution and continuous improvement. Identify opportunities to improve dashboards, reporting tools and finance processes to support better business performance. You enjoy working with numbers, systems and people. You’ll be confident analysing information, asking thoughtful questions and translating financial data into insights that help stakeholders understand what is happening, why it matters and what actions to consider. You’ll bring a continuous improvement mindset, a collaborative approach and the confidence to partner with stakeholders across a complex business environment. The ideal candidate will have: At least 3 years’ experience in a finance related role, with the ability to work independently with general supervision. Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial modelling skills. Experience across financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting or finance operations processes. Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships. Experience using financial software, ERP systems and data/reporting tools. A relevant undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting is highly preferred and CA or CFA qualified or currently working towards certification.
