You would join a team of highly skilled and qualified teachers in a nurturing and collaborative environment. About the role Part-time, maternity leave position (4 days, Tuesday to Friday, approximately 34 hours per week) Possible relieving on Monday's if available. From late September 2026 to early May 2027. Nurture, educate, and care for our tamariki while fostering a love of learning. Teach in a natural play garden setting that encourages free play and exploration. Collaborate closely with colleagues and whānau to provide high-quality education and care. What we’re looking for A deep understanding of child development and learning, with strong knowledge ofTe Whāriki. Experience ininternal evaluation, inquiry learning and intentional teaching. Strength in documenting children’s learning, with excellent communication and organisational skills. Familiarity withStoryparkandProfessional Growth Cyclesis an advantage. Being an Enviroshool, you would commit tosustainabilityandenvironmentally responsible practices. A warm and responsive approach, building strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues.
