As we continue to grow, we're looking for a capable Account Manager who can take ownership of customer relationships, develop customer accounts and support new business opportunities. Job Description / About the Role The Account Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships across the CreditWorks customer base, with responsibility for customer retention, account development and new business acquisition. This is a hands‑on role that combines account management, customer onboarding and business development activities. You'll work closely with customers, prospects and internal teams to deliver a high standard of service, promote CreditWorks' products and services, and identify opportunities to strengthen and expand customer relationships. Working alongside the Business Development Managers, you'll help progress sales opportunities, acquire new customers and develop existing accounts. The role suits someone who enjoys building relationships, developing customer accounts and winning new business. Key responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and act as the primary relationship contact Develop an understanding of customer requirements, business objectives and challenges. Manage the onboarding and implementation of new customers. Conduct customer reviews, training sessions and product demonstrations. Promote and support the use of CreditWorks products and services. Identify opportunities to expand accounts through additional products, services and solutions. Manage customer retention and account renewal activities. Respond to customer enquiries and coordinate outcomes with internal teams. Assist in progressing sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to customer acquisition and onboarding. Work closely with the Business Development Managers to qualify, progress and convert new business opportunities. Prepare proposals, presentations, pricing information and tender responses. Follow up customer enquiries, sales leads and sales opportunities. Maintain accurate customer, prospect and pipeline information within CRM systems. Coordinate with Operations, Technology and Finance teams to ensure effective service delivery. Gather customer feedback and market insights to support business improvement initiatives. Support marketing activities, customer communications, industry events and other commercial projects as required. Qualifications & Experience / About You Experience in account management, business development, sales, relationship management or a similar customer-facing role. Ability to build trusted relationships and engage confidently with customers and stakeholders. Strong commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach. Ability to identify opportunities for account development and business growth. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident presenting products, services and solutions to customers. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate customer records. Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Experience within financial services, credit, data, technology, software or other B2B environments would be advantageous.
