Project Manager Take the Lead on Marine Construction Projects in One of New Zealand's Most Stunning Locations? Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys seeing projects through from concept to completion? Do you thrive on solving problems, leading people, and delivering outstanding results? This is your opportunity to join a well-established and growing marine construction business based in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Reporting directly to the Company Directors, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a diverse range of projects while leading experienced teams and building strong client relationships. No two days are the same, and you'll enjoy the variety, challenge, and satisfaction that comes from managing projects that make a real difference. What You'll Be Doing You’ll take ownership of projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of projects. Developing project plans, schedules, and resource requirements. Managing budgets, timelines, and project performance. Coordinating staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Identifying and managing project risks and resolving issues. Conducting regular site visits to support and lead project teams. Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Preparing progress reports and implementing project improvements. Ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements. Championing a strong Health & Safety culture across all projects. What We’re Looking For You're a natural leader who enjoys working with people, solving challenges, and keeping projects moving. You’ll bring: Proven Project Management experience. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Experience managing budgets, resources, and project schedules. Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A current New Zealand Driver Licence. The legal right to work in New Zealand. It would be great if you also have: Experience within the construction or marine industries. A practical approach and a positive sense of humour.
