Your role primarily manages the fees, rent and activity levies private business pays to operate on DOC land. You will also be helping to prepare reports for decision makers, looking at contractual obligations and working closely with the permissions team. You pride yourself on providing prompt and efficient service whilst processing a wide variety of management tasks. With the department managing approximately 5000 different types of concessions ranging from grazing to activities hosted by major tourism operators, this is a busy role, and you will be able to prioritise your workload and thrive in a bustling environment. This is a full time, fixed term, Dunedin-based role to backfill a secondment until 9 December 2026. This role calls for someone who is keen to add value to the work we do and be part of a high performing team.
