We are looking for a full time, permanent Legal Coordinator to join our team, based on the Manawatu campus in Palmerston North. Mo tenei turanga mahi | About the role As our Legal Coordinator, you will help ensure the smooth operation of the Legal Services team by coordinating legal matters from instruction through to completion. You will work closely with our lawyers, researchers, and professional staff, providing high-quality administrative and operational support. coordinating the flow of legal matters and monitoring progress preparing, formatting, and managing legal documentation maintaining accurate records and electronic filing systems supporting contract execution and document management processes acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders assisting with reporting, workflow management, and continuous improvement initiatives providing general administrative support to the Legal Services team. Mou | About you We are looking for someone who works collaboratively, produces accurate work, and respond to changing priorities. You will bring: a tertiary qualification, or equivalent relevant experience strong organisational and time management skills excellent written and verbal communication skills exceptional attention to detail confidence using a range of business systems and digital tools, with the ability to quickly learn new applications the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining accuracy a proactive approach and sound judgement when solving problems. Experience working in legal administration, research administration, contract management, or a similar professional environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
