Alignz Recruitment – Papamoa, North Island Civil Drainlayer We are currently seeking experienced Civil Drainlayers to join established drainage crews working across a range of civil infrastructure projects in Tauranga. If you have a solid background in drainage and are looking for ongoing work with a supportive team, we want to hear from you. About the Role As a Civil Drainlayer, you will be working on active civil construction sites installing stormwater, wastewater, and drainage systems. You will be responsible for trenching, pipe installation, and ensuring work is completed safely and to specification. You will work closely with machine operators, supervisors, and other crew members to deliver high-quality drainage work across a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities Installation of stormwater and wastewater drainage systems Reading and interpreting site plans and levels Setting out and laying pipes accurately Working safely around excavators and other heavy machinery Trenching, backfilling, and compaction Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and quality standards What We’re Looking For Proven experience in civil drainlaying Drainlayer certification or working towards certification Ability to read and interpret drainage plans Full Class 1 driver’s licence (Class 2 advantageous) WTR endorsement is beneficial Strong understanding of health and safety practices on civil sites Reliable, motivated, and able to work well in a team What We Offer Immediate start available Competitive pay with weekly wages Consistent hours and ongoing work Opportunity to work on a variety of civil infrastructure projects Supportive team environment with opportunities to upskill and progress If you're an experienced drainlayer looking for your next opportunity in Tauranga, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
