About the role\n- \n
- The Senior Site Manager assumes overall accountability for the leadership, performance, and coordination of the site team. \n
- As the principal company representative on site, the Senior Site Manager ensures all safety, quality, cost, and programme requirements are achieved throughout the duration of the contract, including the maintenance period that follows. \n
- As a pivotal member of the delivery team, the Senior Site Manager leads by example, providing day-to-day leadership, guidance, and mentoring to team members while contributing to successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and commercial outcomes. \n
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of contract documentation, construction methodologies, and budget management, while ensuring robust quality control, compliance, and risk management processes are maintained on site. \n
- Proven ability to effectively manage programme, cost, quality, subcontractors, and stakeholder relationships across large-scale and complex construction projects. \n
- Champions a positive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) culture, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. \n

- Demonstrable experience as a Senior Site Manager in NZ working on projects ranging from $25m+ \n
- MOE, MOJ and/or Data Centre project experience is desirable \n
- A relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field or a recognized certification or qualification in Carpentry, such as a National Certificate in Carpentry or an equivalent trade certification. \n
- Successful track record in leadership positions with the ability to motivate team members and drive success is paramount. \n
- Proven experience delivering complex fit-out projects is essential. \n
