What you’ll do | Hei mahi The Transformation Consultant is a pivotal role within our dynamic Transformation team, playing a key role in supporting strategic transformation initiatives within Woolworths NZ, ensuring that we achieve our business goals. You will be actively involved in a range of transformation initiatives, applying your knowledge and expertise to drive successful outcomes. Your success will depend on your commercial judgement, ability to influence senior stakeholders, and confidence working across a matrix environment. Specifically, The Role Will See You Drive Strategic Impact: You’ll be at the heart of Woolworths’ transformation journey, working with our business teams to help to shape, plan, and deliver initiatives that align with our core business goals. Master Process Redesign: Leverage your expertise to uncover inefficiencies and transform business processes, directly boosting efficiency, reducing costs, removing complexity and duplication and elevating the customer experience. Turn Strategy into Reality: You’ll partner with stakeholders to help translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives, backed up by strong financial reasons to believe, craft clear implementation plans, and sometimes deliver the initiative Enable Data-Driven Success: By using your financial skills, you’ll develop cost benefit analysis and/or business cases that empower leaders to objectively compare strategic options and make informed decisions. Cultivate Expertise & Innovation: You’ll contribute to our Community of Practice by developing knowledge artifacts and standardized methodologies, while constantly exploring AI and new technologies to keep us at the cutting edge. Prepare high-quality executive papers and presentations which provide succinct summaries and recommendations based on your work and insights gleaned from stakeholders What you’ll bring | Hei koha Possess a demonstrated track record in the delivery and application of business transformation. Professional experience in managing end-to-end organisational transformations within the public sector, large-scale commercial enterprises, or leading consulting practices. In order to thrive in this role, candidates should possess: A minimum of 5 years of experience in business transformation, preferably with consulting experience across a variety of disciplines and process transformation. Organisational design experience would be an advantage A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a pertinent field of study. Proven experience utilizing Agile methodologies within intricate, matrix-based organizational structures. A results-driven and collaborative approach, with the ability to effectively manage ambiguity. Outstanding skills in stakeholder management and communication. A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and learning. An appetite for experimentation combined with the ability to cut to the chase and suggest a pragmatic way forward.
