Project Director

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Project Director to join a leading civil contractor and lead the tender for a major civil infrastructure project in New Zealand. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior leader with experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects and managing major bids from planning through to project award. Key Responsibilities Lead the tender and bid process for a major infrastructure project. Manage the planning, commercial, and technical aspects of the bid. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Lead and coordinate the project team throughout the tender phase. Identify project risks and develop practical solutions. Support the project through to delivery after contract award. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 15+ years of experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects. Previous experience as a Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or similar. Experience leading large project bids or tenders. Strong background in earthworks, roading, and concrete projects. Wind farm project experience is highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial skills. Competitive salary package of $250K-$300K + company vehicle + benefits, negotiable based on experience. Permanent position with a leading civil contractor. Flexible work location within New Zealand.
