Job Description

This is more than a traditional Finance Manager role.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll be a key member of the Leadership Team, leading the finance function and contributing to strategic and commercial decisions that drive business performance. From cashflow and inventory to pricing, production and store performance, you'll provide the financial insight that drives informed decision-making while ensuring the finance function runs smoothly.

Leading a small team and working across the business, you'll have the opportunity to influence direction, contribute beyond the numbers, and make a real impact as Repertoire continues to evolve.

Qualifications

You'll be just as comfortable contributing to commercial decisions as you are rolling up your sleeves to deliver the financial reporting, compliance and accounting that keep the business running.

You'll bring:

  • CA or CPA qualification with senior finance experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar role.
  • Experience partnering with production on costing, pricing, margins and forecasting.
  • Managing payroll, GST, PAYE and statutory compliance.
  • Exposure to inventory, costing and working capital management
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn financial information into meaningful business decisions.
  • Experience within retail, fashion, consumer products or another inventory-based environment.
  • A collaborative leadership style with the confidence to partner across the business.
  • A hands-on approach and a willingness to get involved wherever needed.

Additional Information

What's on Offer

  • A genuine seat at the table as a part of the leadership team and working closely with the Managing Director.
  • A broad role with variety, autonomy and commercial influence.
  • A role with genuine long-term growth potential.
  • The opportunity to help shape the future of a well-established New Zealand fashion brand.
  • Competitive salary package reflective of experience.

If you're looking for a role where you can combine financial leadership with meaningful commercial impact, we'd love to hear from you.
