Senior Manager Risk Oversight

We’re looking for a Senior Manager Risk Oversight to provide Line 2 review, challenge and advice across ASB’s material programmes of work, including technology modernisation. This is a key opportunity to influence how major change is delivered, ensuring risk management practices, key decisions and milestone readiness are aligned to ASB’s policies and standards.

Technology transformation is reshaping how organisations operate, serve customers and manage risk.

We're looking for a senior risk professional who understands the realities of delivering complex change and can provide trusted advice, constructive challenge and independent oversight across large-scale programmes.

This role will suit someone who has worked in technology transformation, programme assurance, operational risk, technology risk, enterprise risk or consulting environments and enjoys operating at the intersection of strategy, delivery, governance and risk.

• You'll have visibility across ASB's most significant technology and transformation initiatives, partnering with senior leaders to influence critical decisions, challenge delivery approaches and help ensure major programmes achieve their intended outcomes while remaining within risk appetite.

• You'll work closely with executives, transformation leaders and governance forums, providing an independent perspective on programme risk, delivery readiness and control effectiveness.

• Financial services or other highly regulated industries

You’ll combine strong risk management capability with the credibility and confidence to influence senior stakeholders, ask the difficult questions and provide pragmatic solutions that support successful delivery outcomes.

You’ll join a team with significant visibility across the organisation and the opportunity to influence how major strategic change is governed and delivered.
