What You'll Do

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Visualisation Artist (Multimedia Designer) who is obsessed with photorealism and visual storytelling. You will be trusted with complete autonomy, leading projects from concept to final delivery. This is a role for a master of the craft who thrives on pushing creative and technical boundaries.

What You'll Bring

For this Senior position, we require a minimum of 6+ years of experience (preferably built in a studio environment). A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred, however in line with ANZSCO requirements, significant industry experience (5+ years) in a Multimedia Designer capacity will be considered. Your profile must demonstrate:

  • A Portfolio of Excellence: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing your keen eye for lighting, composition, and cinematic language.

  • Technical Mastery: Proficiency in the core ArchViz pipeline, including 3ds Max and Corona/Vray, and a commitment to maintaining exceptional file hygiene. Experience with Unreal Engine or AI-integrated workflows (ComfyUI/SD) is a massive plus.

  • Design Fluency: The ability to understand and interpret architectural design packages (drawings, schedules) and translate them into compelling visual content.

  • Complete Autonomy: You will be trusted to lead projects from start to finish, producing images, animations, and VR experiences with complete independence.

  • Strong Leadership: The ability to confidently lead clients, mentor peers, and direct creative outcomes.

  • Comprehensive Animation Expertise: Essential knowledge of traditional animation workflow, including camera animation, moving assets, and proficiency in editing software (After Effects, Premiere, etc.).

  • Curiosity and Growth: A willingness to push boundaries, experiment, and constantly improve.

  • Teamwork: The ability to provide and receive constructive and honest feedback.

Location & Collaboration

Our work thrives on shared vision and in-person collaboration, making this a primarily office-based role in our Auckland studio. We offer some flexibility for hybrid work, but we are not accepting fully remote candidates at this stage.

As an Accredited Employer, we can support visa applications for the right talent for this role, provided you are prepared to relocate to Auckland at your own cost.
