About the Role We are looking for casual registered nurses that enjoy working in a challenging specialty area and have strong clinical skills. Ideally you will have experience with administering chemotherapy as well as excellent cannulation and phlebotomy skills. You will have a key role in the delivery of patient care for our Infusion Centre. Providing serviceexcellence to our patients is essential, we currently deliver care to both Haematology and non-Haematology patient groups as well as outpatient infusions. We are also administering Sub-cutaneous chemotherapy for haematology patients. About the Team/Service/ Location Our Infusion Centre has an established dynamic and growing department based at Waitakere Hospital. We are responsible for providing nursing care and the administration of outpatient infusions for a variety of services. Creating an environment that is welcoming, professional and supports quality service delivery is our priority. We are looking for someone that is focused, have excellent communication skills, motivated and have experience being a member of a team working collaboratively to facilitate and co-ordinate care that achieves health outcomes. Weare a team that works at pace, with passion, vision and intent. Ourregistered nurses are pivotal toour success and will be expected to engage fully withthe wholeteam. About you To be considered we will need the following: New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate Minimum of 3 years post registration acute experience as a Registered Nurse Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
