Position Snapshot Immediatestart Permanent,full-time position Location:William Durant Drive, Upper Hutt Daysof work: Monday to Saturday Rosteredhours between 04:00am and 14:00pm The Role You'll be responsible for delivering a wide range of foodproducts to customers throughout Wellington and surrounding areas, whilemaintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customerservice. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring a strongcommitment to safe driving practices, health and safety procedures, andprofessional behaviour at all times. Key Responsibilities Safelyoperate Class 2 delivery trucks to transport goods Loadand unload products, ensuring they're handled and transported securely Delivercustomer orders accurately and on time Maintaindelivery records and documentation Provideexcellent customer service and represent the Service Foods brandprofessionally Complywith all road safety, transport, and traffic regulations Reportvehicle faults or maintenance issues promptly, and refuel vehicles asneeded Conductdaily vehicle checks, including oil and coolant levels, WOF, tyres, andgeneral roadworthiness Washand clean vehicles as required Assistwith picking and packing orders when required What We're Looking For Afull New Zealand Class 2 Driver Licence and confidence driving manualvehicles Strongcommunication and customer service skills Knowledgeof Wellington and surrounding areas (preferred) Goodliteracy and numeracy skills Areliable, flexible, and detail-focused approach to work Aclean driving record and clean criminal record PreviousNew Zealand driving and delivery experience Basicknowledge of food products and ingredients Strongorganisational and time management skills Apositive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team Reliabletransport for your daily commute Physical Requirements This is a physically active role involving regular liftingof up to 20kg, loading and unloading deliveries, repetitive movements such asbending, reaching, and twisting, and extended periods of driving, standing,walking, and manual handling. Applicants should be comfortable with thephysical nature of the role and able to safely perform its inherentrequirements. Applicants must have New Zealand citizenship, residency, ora valid New Zealand work visa.
