Trainee Sonographer

About the Role We are seeking applications to appoint a Sonographer Trainee. The students will gain practical experience via tuition in both the public and private sector. This fixed term contract will be for the duration of the training which is up to 2.5 years. The successful candidates will be required to undertake the Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science (Ultrasound) delivered extramurally through the University of Auckland. Position will be based in Tauranga but may require travel to Whakatāne hospital during their training. About you To be successful in this role, you will be enthusiastic and have a professional approach in all that you do, and enjoy working in a varying, dynamic environment. Ideally you will have the following: Three or more years of clinical experience in a hospital setting Completed and passed papers for Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science (Ultrasound) through Auckland University.
