Job Description The role Are you studying Electrical Engineering and think you have what it takes to fill a summer holiday role at Alpine Energy? We have an exciting opportunity for up to three students to join our Timaru based team over the university holiday period to gain valuable experience and see what life is like at Alpine Energy. You'll join a supportive team that values learning, collaboration and continuous improvement, with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and gain hands‑on experience. What's involved You will get first‑hand experience working in our engineering team, gain practical skills and develop core engineering competencies in the following areas: Asset Lifecycle Drawing Office What you'll need The successful candidates will ideally have a combination of the following skills and qualifications: Completed 3rd year towards BE or BTech or NDE (Level 6) with a bias to Power Engineering Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, 365 and Python Good analytical skills Excellent influencing/communication skills - oral, written and listening Ability to set priorities and meet pre‑determined deadlines What we offer At Alpine we focus on creating a place where people genuinely want to come to work.
