The Opportunity We are seeking a commercially minded and highly analytical Distribution Performance Specialist to support the National Manager - Advice & Professional Standards and broader Distribution Leadership Team. Based preferably in Auckland (with Christchurch also considered), this role plays a pivotal part in providing performance reporting, data insights and operational support that enable the distribution network to grow, maintain compliance standards and deliver strong customer outcomes. Working across multiple stakeholders and systems, you will be the go-to person for turning complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing analytics with stakeholder engagement. You will partner closely with internal teams supporting adviser onboarding, offboarding, policy transfers, commissions and distribution operations, while producing key reporting through Power BI and other business systems. A naturally inquisitive and proactive problem solver, you will be comfortable managing competing priorities, investigating issues, supporting system and process improvements, and contributing to strategic projects, including a major integration initiative currently underway across the New Zealand business. The ideal candidate will bring at least 1-3 years’ experience in insurance, financial services, analytics or a similar environment, with strong Power BI capability being essential. Experience with Life400, CRM platforms, digital transformation or system change projects will be highly regarded. Success in this role will come from your ability to work autonomously, build strong relationships across the business, communicate complex information clearly, and provide accurate, insightful analysis that supports informed decision-making. How will you make an impact? Produce and deliver accurate distribution performance reporting and analytics. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, metrics and management reporting. Provide meaningful data insights and recommendations to support business decision-making. Partner with stakeholders across Distribution, Finance, Technology and Operations to gather and interpret data. Support adviser conduct oversight through regular compliance, governance and regulatory reporting. Assist with adviser onboarding, offboarding, policy transfers and other distribution administration activities. Maintain data quality, integrity and compliance with data governance standards. Support system enhancements, testing and reporting improvements across platforms including CRM and Life400. Contribute to key business projects, including the integration of New Zealand operations and reporting processes. Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting and enhance business performance. About you To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following: Experience in data analytics, reporting or performance analysis, ideally within insurance, financial services or a regulated environment. Advanced Power BI skills, with the ability to analyse data and deliver meaningful business insights. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the business. A proactive and inquisitive approach, with a natural ability to investigate issues and identify solutions. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Confidence working across multiple systems and interpreting complex business processes and data sets. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality. A self-motivated, collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously. Experience with Life400, CRM platforms or system transformation projects will be highly regarded Why Join Us?
