We’re looking for a Future Skills & Capability Lead to shape and deliver CCM’s future skills strategy, helping our people stay ahead of emerging trends and transformation demands. You’ll be our strategic connector - the bridge between CCM’s capability needs and our enterprise learning, engineering, and workforce partners. You’ll translate complex future trends into practical, targeted learning interventions that ensure our people are ready for whatever comes next. Mō te tūranga | About the role This role is responsible for defining what “future-ready” looks like for CCM and translating emerging trends such as AI, automation and platform change into practical capability and learning interventions. You’ll act as a strategic knowledge broker, connecting CCM’s capability needs with enterprise learning, engineering and workforce partners, while ensuring future skills insights are embedded into workforce planning. Day to day, you’ll be involved in tasks such as: Designing and building CCM’s future skills framework from the ground up, translating trends like AI and platform changes into clear capability requirements. Figuring out what skills we have today, identifying the gaps, and designing scalable, practical learning pathways to get us where we need to be. Acting as a strategic knowledge broker. We are building a culture of collaboration over competition; you’ll partner across enterprise capability teams and the People Workstream to ensure our strategy is coherent and connected. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating complex capability data into clear insights that mitigate risk and inform our strategic workforce planning and staying ahead of emerging skills, tools and learning methodologies We know that great people come from diverse backgrounds. The ability to influence and connect: You are a natural collaborator who builds trust quickly. You are comfortable influencing senior leaders and enterprise teams without needing formal authority.
