Rotational Occupational Therapist - Permanent Full-Time 80hrs / fortnight (Monday to Friday) Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora Waitematā About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic rotational occupational therapist to join our highly skilled and dedicated occupational therapy team at Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora Waitematā. This is a full-time role, and this programme gives you the opportunity to participate in a wide range of clinical settings to further develop your skills and competencies in occupational therapy assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning across North Shore Hospital, Waitakere Hospital, Community services and the Wilson Centre. Regular professional supervision from experienced clinicians Work perks About the Team/Service/ Location We offer a two-tier rotational scheme within Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora Waitematā at three sites across the district. Core 1 rotational positions are 6 months long and offer experience in: Acute medical (Waitakere & North Shore) Acute surgical Acute orthopaedics Older Adult Assessment Treatment & Rehabilitation (AT&R) Core 2 rotational positions are 12 months long and offer experience across several sites across the Waitematā region in: Trauma orthopaedics Integrated stroke unit Paediatric rehabilitation at the Wilson Centre (the national paediatric rehabilitation provider) Community Occupational Therapy adults Acute Renal About you Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
