Your Career at EGL We are seeking a highly motivated Intermediate Geotechnical and Civil Engineer whowants totacklecomplexdesignchallenges and grow your career. This role involves delivering specialist engineering solutions across a range of dam, water, and infrastructure projects. What you will do: Undertake geotechnical analysis and design. Provide technical input into geotechnical and civil engineering projects including the preparation of technical reports. Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Coordinate and manage site investigations, testing and construction inspections. Support the management of projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Potential to travel to project sitesacross NZ and Australia. Engage in continuous development, throughon-the-job trainingalongside our senior specialists,collaboration with international experts andattendance at conferences. Work on career-defining projects throughout NZ and overseas. Qualifications & Attributes we are looking for: Education: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Experience: You have 4 to 8years’ experience in geotechnical and civil engineering, ideally with exposure toinfrastructureprojects. Drivers Licence: You hold a full New Zealand Drivers Licence, or ability to travel to site. Project Management and relationship building: You are developing yourexperience in managing engineering projects, including fostering strong relationships with clients and team members. Technical: You can operate independently and deliver packages of engineering design work. You are proficient in technical report writing, with oversight, guidance and review from a Senior Engineer. Adaptability: You lean into challenges, demonstrate resilience in complex problem-solving and adopting new technologies. Commitment to continual learning: You are keen to engage in professional development and grow your career. Flexibility to travel: You are able to travel outside of Auckland for site visits and fieldwork. Why Join EGL?
