Job Description The role As our Systems & Application Analyst, you'll be the link between technology and the business, helping shape how Alpine Energy's critical applications evolve. From GIS and field mobility solutions through to business process improvement and vendor management, you'll have the opportunity to influence technology decisions, drive meaningful change, and help deliver the systems that support South Canterbury's electricity network As the Systems & Application Analyst, you will be responsible for: Managing and supporting core business applications, including GIS and field mobility solutions, while maintaining strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders. Analysing business processes and system requirements to identify improvement opportunities, support change initiatives, and help deliver effective technology solutions. Managing incidents, service requests, upgrades, testing, and application changes, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and aligned to business needs. What you'll need Experience in a Systems Analyst, Application Support, Business Systems, or Service Operations role (Usually 3+ years). Strong experience analysing business processes, gathering requirements, and supporting application improvements. Excellent stakeholder, vendor management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Nice to have GIS experience, particularly ESRI ArcGIS, or exposure to field mobility applications. Experience within utilities, infrastructure, asset-intensive environments, or familiarity with ITIL-based service management practices.
