The Opportunity We'relooking foraSummerIntern to join ourAICentre of Excellenceteam inTāmakiMakaurau/Auckland on a fixed-termbasiscommencinginNovember 2026. This role helps accelerate the adoption and delivery of AI across PwC New Zealand by supporting the development of practical AI solutions, including AI agents and low-code tools that automate processes, improve ways of working, and enhance how we deliver for clients. Through a player-coach mindset, the team also supports AI capability uplift across the firm by enabling knowledge sharing, supportingadoptionand embedding AI into the way our people work across Advisory, Tax, Legal and Assurance. Whatyou'lldo Workalongside the AICoEand teams across the firm to helpidentifyopportunitieswhere AI can solvereal businesschallenges. Support the design, build, testing and deployment ofAI agents and low-code solutions from concept through to production. Collaborate with product, engineering,dataand business teams tocontribute topractical,scalableand responsible AI solutions. Assist withAI adoption through demos, user support,and knowledge sharing. Improve solutions by troubleshooting issues, incorporatingfeedbackand developing reusable assets. Whatyou'llbring Working towards, or recently completed, aqualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A strong interest in AI, automation, low-code development and emerging technologies,demonstratedthrough study, projects,internshipsor work experience. The ability to translate ideas into practical technical solutions, with strong analytical skills and a curious, growth-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams. Exposure to, or interestin, AItools, low-code platforms,automationor prototyping technologies, such as M365, Copilot Studio, Claude Code, ChatGPT/Codex,APIsor workflow automation tools. An understanding of responsible AIprinciples, ora willingness to learn how toapplyemerging technology in a thoughtful, practical way. Exposure toprofessional services, client-facing work or technology-enabled business transformation would be an advantage.Legal working rights in New Zealand at the time of application.
