This PM position (4:00 PM – ~12:30 AM) is ideal for someone who enjoys practical logistics work and keeping operations moving safely and efficiently. As Logistics Coordinator, PM Shift You’ll work closely with the warehouse team to load trucks using a forklift and overhead gantry crane Move vehicles through the loading bays Ensure loads are secure and compliant with NZTA standards Prepare trucks for next-day departures. You’ll pick up daily run instructions, check loads as “IN FULL” and coordinate with dispatch Perform vehicle inspections Support delivery operations This role has a strong practical focus while contributing to safety excellence and team efficiency. In addition to hands-on loading and truck movement You’ll help maintain equipment, complete administration (paperwork, checklists, logbooks), and ensure high standards of load security and customer service. The role requires physical fitness, confidence operating heavy equipment, and the ability to stay organised during busy periods with multiple trucks. A practical, solutions-oriented mindset and willingness to drive when required are key. About You Full Class 5 licence with clean driving history (essential) Endorsed counterbalance forklift licence (2.5T–5T) is an advantage Experience in warehouse, loading, or transport operations Gantry crane or Hiab certification is highly desirable Physically fit with excellent safety awareness Good communication skills and a positive, flexible team attitude If you’re a practical, reliable operator who takes pride in safe and efficient loading, we’d love to hear from you.
