Aboutthe Role ThisRegistered Nurse position will be on the casual outpatient pool to cover shiftsacross Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5:30pm. There are nonights or weekends/public holidays required.Weare seeking a Registered Nurse with a flexible schedule available to covershort notice shifts preferably with wound care, procedural assistance,cannulation and venepuncture experience. Aboutthe Service ChristchurchGeneral Outpatients works across two floors of our purpose-built facility. Weprovide nursing support and care for up to 24 different Specialities. Every dayin Christchurch Outpatients is different with the Nursing team managing woundcare, assisting in diagnostic procedures such as flexible cystoscopy,supporting minor surgery and procedures, as well as running nurse led clinicssuch as Phototherapy. AboutYou Youwill be an energetic and reliable person and work proactively to provide highquality patient care. You should have excellent time management and be able towork well within a team. Skillsand Experience Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) Wound care, procedural assistance, cannulation and venepuncture experience preferred Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with a strong patient focus Ability to work under pressure Excellent time management and attention to detail Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused Workingat Health New Zealand HealthNew Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare forthe people of New Zealand.
