About the Role We are keen to build ICAMHS across Waikato as a place where Social Work shines and is valued for its expertise that is so essential in this space. Therefore, we are looking for a Social Worker who is passionate to help develop Social Work as a profession, support the onboarding of new people, ensure recruitment and retention processes that target Social Workers are in place and arrange regular meetings with Social Workers across Waikato. A key aspect of this role is helping develop learning and development plans for each Social Worker and advocate for Social Workers individually and as a team. About the Team/Service The Social work clinical lead role sits across the three Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato Child and Adolescent Mental Health clusters. About you Currently employed by Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Waikato. Passionate about advancing social work practice and developing the allied health workforce. An effective communicator who builds strong relationships and contributes positively as part of a leadership team. Reliable, organised and committed to achieving high-quality clinical and leadership outcomes. Willing to support professional practice through clinical supervision, case review, annual performance development, and service improvement initiatives.
