As they expand their civil construction capability, they are committed to safe, reliable and high‑quality outcomes—valuing practical leadership, strong relationships and a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving. About The Opportunity The primary purpose of this position is to lead operational delivery across multiple civil construction projects while ensuring works are planned, resourced and delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. This is a hands‑on leadership role combining operational management, planning and commercial responsibility. Reporting directly to the Business Manager, responsibilities include: Supervising and supporting Foremen, Operators and Labourers Leading and coordinating daily operations across multiple civil projects Scoping works, undertaking site assessments and developing delivery methodologies Preparing estimates, pricing and coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors Monitoring project performance, quality and delivery while promoting a strong safety culture About You Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil construction Full New Zealand Driver Licence and WTR endorsements Experience scoping, planning and pricing civil construction works Proven experience leading crews and coordinating civil works projects Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, utilities, excavation, reinstatement, pavements or general civil infrastructure What’s in it for You?
