Based at our Christchurch branch, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Sales Consultant to help grow our presence across the South Island. This is an opportunity for someone who understands commercial transport parts, builds trust quickly, and knows how to turn strong customer relationships into results. The role In this role, you will: Manage the parts requirements and growth of one of New Zealand’s largest commercial vehicle workshops Provide expert parts interpretation and technical advice Develop strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities Prepare quotations and process sales accurately and efficiently Proactively identify opportunities to increase sales and deliver greater value to customers Support the wider team through collaboration and knowledge sharing Contribute to a safe, positive, and high-performing workplace What you’ll bring Proven sales experience within commercial transport parts or the heavy vehicle industry Strong parts interpretation skills and sound product knowledge OEM experience would be an advantage Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to sales Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail A commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement, and workplace safety A current New Zealand driver licence The legal right to work in New Zealand Join an established and respected New Zealand business with genuine growth opportunities Be part of a strong team culture built around our values: Outthink, Outserve, Open Minds, and Own It Enjoy the autonomy to take ownership of the role and make your mark Receive a competitive salary based on your skills and experience The successful candidate will be required to complete: Ministry of Justice criminal history check Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing ACC claims history check If you know commercial transport parts, enjoy building lasting customer relationships, and are ready to take ownership of your next challenge, we’d like to hear from you.
