The business began in 2013 as a food truck serving farmers markets, festivals, and private events around the North Island. Growing demand from pasta enthusiasts led to the opening of the first pasta bar in 2015, and NEEDO now operates five stores in Auckland. The name “NEEDO” comes from “knead + dough,” reflecting a passion for preparing fresh pasta with care so customers can enjoy it every day. Team members join a fast-paced, customer-focused environment centered on quality, consistency, and hospitality. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Area Manager role based in Auckland. The Area Manager oversees daily operations across multiple NEEDO locations, ensuring consistent product quality, excellent customer service, and adherence to company standards. Responsibilities include leading and coaching store managers, monitoring sales performance, managing staffing levels and scheduling, and supporting recruitment and training. The role involves implementing operational procedures, optimizing inventory and cost controls, and maintaining health and safety and food hygiene compliance. The Area Manager also collaborates with leadership on local marketing initiatives, identifies opportunities for improvement, and supports new store openings or projects as needed. Qualifications Experience in multi-site hospitality or retail management, with proven ability to lead and develop store managers and teams. Strong operational skills, including overseeing daily store performance, inventory management, and cost control. Customer-focused mindset with a track record of maintaining high service standards and resolving issues effectively. Solid communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with diverse team members and stakeholders. Knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and compliance requirements within a food-service environment. Organizational and time-management skills, including prioritizing tasks across multiple locations. Comfort working in a fast-paced setting, with flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as needed. Prior experience in restaurant or quick-service operations. Relevant qualification in hospitality management, business, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory. #J-18808-Ljbffr
