Job Description

Design products. Shape brands. Solve better ideas. We’re looking for a Senior Multidisciplinary Designer to lead design across Superbold. This isn’t a role for someone who only designs websites, only creates brands or only produces marketing artwork. We’re looking for someone who thinks beyond the screen. Someone who enjoys understanding people, asking the right questions, challenging assumptions and designing solutions that are both beautiful and effective. While this is first and foremost a design role, you’ll naturally lead conversations around UX, product thinking and customer experience. You’ll work closely with strategists, developers and clients to shape ideas before a single screen is designed. You’ll contribute creatively from day one, bringing ideas, challenging assumptions and helping shape stronger concepts before the team moves into execution. You’ll design everything from digital products and SaaS platforms to websites, brands, campaigns, presentations, content and marketing assets. No two weeks are the same. Alongside client work, you’ll also work across our Venture Studio, where we build and launch our own businesses. That means you’ll have the opportunity to help shape products from the ground up, not just execute someone else’s brief. What you’ll do You’ll take ownership of design from discovery through to delivery. On any given week you’ll be: Leading discovery workshops, UX sessions and design conversations with clients and internal teams. Researching users, competitors and products to understand the real problem before jumping into solutions. Turning business goals and customer needs into intuitive digital experiences. Contributing creative ideas that improve the work, not just the design. Challenging assumptions and helping shape stronger products, brands and campaigns. Bringing a design perspective into creative discussions and helping the team find better solutions. Designing websites, ecommerce stores, SaaS platforms, apps and digital products. Mapping user journeys, information architecture, wireframes and interactive prototypes. Creating polished UI that’s both beautiful and easy to use. Presenting concepts and confidently explaining your thinking to clients and stakeholders. Building scalable design systems and component libraries in Figma. Working closely with developers to ensure designs are practical and executed to a high standard. Designing premium brand identities and visual systems. Creating campaign creative, social content, digital advertising, presentations and marketing assets. Supporting our Venture Studio by helping shape and launch new products and businesses. Raising the quality of design across the studio through collaboration, feedback and mentoring. What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who combines exceptional design skills with strong product thinking and creative curiosity. You’ll have: Significant experience working in a digital, creative or product design agency. Agency experience is essential. An outstanding portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking as well as exceptional execution. Strong UX and UI design experience across websites, apps and digital products. The confidence to lead UX workshops, discovery sessions and design conversations with clients. The ability to ask the right questions before jumping into design. The confidence to challenge ideas respectfully and contribute to creative discussions. Excellent visual design skills across branding, typography, layout, interaction design and visual hierarchy. Advanced Figma skills, including Auto Layout, variables, components, prototyping and design systems. Experience collaborating closely with developers and understanding technical constraints. Confidence presenting work and explaining the thinking behind your decisions. Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of balancing user needs with business goals. Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate research, exploration, ideation and production. You use AI to improve your workflow, not replace your creativity, design thinking or attention to detail. The ideal person You think like a designer, but naturally ask product questions. You want to understand the customer before opening Figma. You don’t wait for someone to hand you the answer. You ask questions, challenge assumptions and enjoy helping shape the creative direction of a project. You’re always looking for a better way to solve a problem, whether that’s improving a user journey, refining a brand, simplifying a product or finding a stronger creative idea. You don’t simply take a brief and make it look good. You help shape the brief. One day you’re leading a UX workshop, mapping customer journeys and shaping a new digital product. The next you’re refining a premium brand identity, presenting concepts to a client or putting your headphones on and smashing out campaign creative, social content or marketing assets. You know when to zoom out and think strategically, and when to get into the detail. You’re not just the person who makes it look good. You’re the person who helps make it better. What you’ll work on No two weeks will look the same. Designing a new SaaS platform from the ground up. Leading UX workshops for a digital product. Creating a premium ecommerce experience. Developing a complete brand identity and visual system. Designing investor presentations and sales collateral. Creating integrated campaign creative across digital, social and print. Helping launch one of our own Venture Studio businesses. You’ll work across strategy, branding, UX, UI, websites, digital products, campaigns, content and marketing, creating work that’s simple, considered and beautifully executed. Why Superbold? We’re not a traditional agency. Alongside helping ambitious businesses grow, we also build and launch our own companies through our Venture Studio. That means you’ll work on established brands, startups, digital products and businesses that don’t even exist yet. You’ll have genuine ownership, plenty of variety and the opportunity to influence products from the earliest conversations through to launch. You’ll work with talented strategists, developers, marketers and creatives who genuinely enjoy pushing each other to produce better work. If you’re looking for a role where you can continue to grow as both a designer and a creative thinker, you’ll fit right in. One last thing… We respect your time as much as ours. If this role isn’t the right fit yet, that’s completely okay. We’d rather be upfront than have either of us waste time in the interview process by applying for a role you don't have the experience or skill to do (yet).
