Senior Reporting Analyst - Toitū Envirocare

This is more than a reporting role. You'll work across financial, operational, customer, and market data, partnering with leaders across the business to translate information into actionable insights that support confident, forward-looking decisions. You'll combine strong technical capability with commercial thinking, translating complex information into clear insights that inform decision-making. From building robust data models and dashboards to undertaking advanced analysis and storytelling, you'll play a key role in helping Toitū make confident, forward-looking decisions. You'll be supported by an experienced and collaborative team, with opportunities to learn, grow and make a tangible impact in an organisation committed to creating a more sustainable future. This role can be based in Auckland or Wellington. What We're Looking For We're seeking an experienced analytics professional who combines strong reporting and data modelling expertise with a strategic mindset, exceptional business partnering skills, and a passion for turning data into insights that inform decision-making and drive organisational performance. What You'll Bring 5+ years' experience in a senior or specialist reporting, business intelligence, or analytics role. Strong experience working with data end-to-end, including data integration, modelling, analysis, and reporting. Advanced SQL, Power BI and Excel skills, with experience using reporting and analytics tools such as SSRS, SAS, Salesforce or similar platforms. Experience working with financial, operational and market data to support business performance and decision-making. Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality dashboards, reports and analytics solutions that meet stakeholder needs. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and build trusted partnerships across the business. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for a range of audiences. A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while maintaining a focus on strategic outcomes. A relevant tertiary qualification and/or technical certifications is advantageous. Experience partnering with senior leaders to shape priorities, influence strategy and drive business improvement. A continuous improvement mindset, with a track record of enhancing reporting, analytics and business processes.
