We have a 9-month parental leave vacancy (0.9FTE) for a Registered Nurse with experience within Mental health. The role covers Early Episode Psychosis working with young people aged 14-25yrs and their whanau who are experiencing their first episode of Psychosis. We expect the best from people we employ and we try to give them the best! On this occasion, we are looking for someone with experience within a mental health setting, preferably within the acute field; though more importantly someone who is passionate about Young People and their whanau and is highly skilled in relationship building and communication. A team player is essential. You will have a range of assessment and therapy skills. We are also willing to provide appropriate training . About you We require someone who can be creative, flexible and innovative. You must also possess an awesome sense of humour and be compassionate and kind in your everyday interactions. About the Team/Service Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua – MidCentral is a 350-bed hospital in the city of Palmerston North, Manawatū, a city in the Lower North Island of New Zealand.
