About the RoleWe are welcoming applicants from senior nursing staff with a minimum of 5 years experience and a proven track record working in critical care to join our friendly professional team in providing care in our combined ICU/CCU/HDU department. A post graduate qualification in critical care is preferred or the commitment to complete one essential The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is a senior clinical and operational leadership role within the Intensive Care Unit. The CNC is responsible for the daytoday coordination of patient flow, capacity management, and the delivery of safe, highquality care across the unit. This role ensures that clinical activity aligns with organisational priorities, patient acuity, and safe staffing levels, while supporting staff and the wider multidisciplinary team. The CNC acts as a central point of coordination, providing oversight of clinical risk, resource allocation, and operational decisionmaking through, out each shift. The role is pivotal in maintaining ICU throughput, supporting timely transfers, and enabling efficient hospitalwide patient flow. The position requires a close working relationship with the CNM, medical staff and other members of the interprofessional team.
