Production Operator - Manufacturing | East Tamaki Join a supportive East Tamaki team, put your batching & blending skills to work, and build your future in a growing industry! 24th July, 2026 Our client is a leading global business specializing in chemical formulation, manufacturing, and distribution. Their East Tamaki site offers the stability and resources of a growing international organization while maintaining a supportive, close-knit team environment. As a Production Operator, you'll work as part of a hands‑on team manufacturing a range of adhesives, cement products, and construction materials. You'll play an important role in ensuring products are safely and efficiently manufactured to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Accurately measure, weigh, and blend raw materials in large blending tanks. Operate production machinery, ensuring the correct temperatures and speeds are maintained. Follow batch instructions, production schedules, and established procedures. Package finished products into 15L-200L drums, including labelling, packing, and wrapping for dispatch. Complete accurate batch records and documentation. Clean IBCs and maintain a high standard of housekeeping across the production area. Follow all workplace health, safety, and PPE requirements. Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet production targets. Skills & Experience We are looking for someone with previous experience in manufacturing or production who understands the importance of safety, quality, and following processes. Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or processing environment. Experience with batching and blending, ideally within food, chemical, household, personal care, or similar industries. Experience accurately weighing and measuring raw materials or products. Ability to work comfortably in full PPE, including respirators where required. Comfortable working in a hands‑on environment that may involve dust and chemical handling. Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting products weighing up to 25kg. Strong reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude. A team‑focused approach with a willingness to support others. A strong focus on following procedures and getting the job done right.
