About The Role We are currently seeking a Sales Support / Regional Sales Assistant to play a pivotal role in our sales operations. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical sales exposure while supporting our high-performing sales teams. The role is primarily based in our Ellerslie office, with regular travel to our Northern region villages. A full driver’s license and the ability to drive independently are essential, as you will be required to use your own vehicle for work-related travel, with fuel costs reimbursed. As our Sales Support, you will coordinate key activities and ensure that our sales operations run smoothly. Your strong administrative and organizational skills will be crucial in maintaining accurate Salesforce data, tracking refurbishments, and assisting with events and open days. Your efforts will help ensure that every prospect receives an exceptional first impression. Key Responsibilities Maintaining accurate and timely data entry in our CRM system, including leads, prospects, unit modifications, refurbishment requirements, and checklists to ensure data integrity across assigned villages. Utilizing reporting tools such as Salesforce, Excel, Power BI, and Smartsheet to generate insights and reports that support sales performance tracking and decision-making. Meeting, hosting, and building rapport with prospective residents, contracted individuals, and members of the public. Responding to queries in a polite, helpful, and informed manner to ensure a positive customer experience. Coordinating appointments and follow-ups for Sales Advisors at assigned villages. Collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager and maintaining open communication with Sales Advisors across the region to plan for upcoming sales support requirements. Analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and sharing findings with the Regional Sales Manager and Sales Advisors. Sharing knowledge about the Ryman brand, village life, and our offerings in a warm and professional manner. Requirements Proven experience in a customer-facing or sales support role. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly. A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to support others. Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Salesforce is preferred, but we are open to candidates willing to learn the system. Tech-savvy with a willingness to explore AI tools and automation to improve efficiency. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build valuable relationships both internally and externally. A strong commitment to kindness and delivering results.
